PSE7 - Week 6

This week we learned about color management - the three R's - Resolution, Resizing and Resampling - and creating a collage.



My son Frank, who is a teetotaler - played the part of Huck Finn's "Pap" in the play "Big River". He made a convincing drunk.

PSE7 - Week 5

In this lesson we learned about the Selection Brush - How to use the Magic Extractor - How to create a snapshot - and Adjustment Layers.

Our homework assignment was to post: 1. A before and after of an image we extracted from its background using the Magic Extractor; 2. A snapshot image.

I obviously need to learn a few more things before my technique is perfect, but hopefully that will come later.



I spend my winters in Arizona to escape the Idaho winters - but it's pretty dry down there and we don't very often see wildflowers - except in 2004 - as seen above.


Here's a snapshot taken from the above picture and superimposed on the original picture - the background was then changed to anything we liked - I chose to turn it into a nightscene.
